Bay Area Shakespeare Camps

Programs at Odyssey School in San Mateo and other sites. For ages 7-18.  Non-residential Summer Program (ages 9-16)
This program is for elementary and middle-school students who live in the Stanford area.  Courses will be announced in March.

 SummerInstituteMiddle School Program (ages 11-14)
This is a two-week residential summer program at Stanford University providing students with opportunity to explore topics not typically presented in school and to interact with others who share their interests and abilities.
Courses offered in mathematics, physical sciences, computer programming, creative writing, expository writing.

Summer Institutes (ages 13-17)
These are 3-week and 5-week residential summer programs at Stanford University for academically talented and motivated students entering grades 9 through 12 in Fall 2005. Provide an opportunity for students to enrich and accelerate their academic pursuits and share this experience with others of similar interests and abilities.  Courses are offered in mathematics, music, computer programming, humanities, writing, science, and engineering.

E-Learning Courses (ages 5-18)
EPGY offers over 50 computer-based distance learning courses during the summer as well as during the academic year.  Consist of multimedia lectures with animation and real-time virtual classroom sessions.  Courses offered in English and mathematics at elementary and middle school levels.  Wider variety of courses at high-school level.

iD TECH CAMPS An iD Tech Computer Camp: Summer Camp
Located at over 35 universities in 17 states, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Santa Clara University, Dominican University, St. Mary's College of Moraga, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego, Cal Lutheran University, Pepperdine University, and UC Irvine. Summer Institute for the Gifted offers 3-week summer camps for gifted students in grades 4 though 11.   The two West Coast sites are UC Berkeley and UC Los Angeles. Both are residential programs.

THINK SUMMER INSTITUTE
The Davidson Institute is seeking profoundly gifted students, ages 12 through 15, who are interested in attending the THINK Summer Institute, a three-week residential summer program on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno where students can earn up to seven college credits.
The THINK Summer Institute runs the last three weeks in July. Tuition is $1,800 and covers course credits, room and board and the cost of planned programs and activities. Financial assistance is available based on need.
